A Loud Dance with Words

Words linger on my lips
As I stand still in a song
Let me be heard
I want to be loud
I speak with my heart
And dance with my soul
Let me be seen
I want to be loud
My mind runs fast
While my body stands still
Let me be touched
I want to be loud
I grow louder as the summer skies grow darker
I dance with my words and surrender to their power
My laughter rolls atop the clouds
As my dreams move across the stars
Sweeter than summer rain
I yell:
“Let them shine strong – I’m proud to be loud!”
