I carried the weight of your pain for far too long
Pregnant with the disease of your abuse
Nearly buried full of the dirt you left behind
But fool that you are
And the many times you underestimated me
Only made me that much stronger, smarter
And best of all spiritually powerful
And when Lady Karma came knocking on your door
You became an even bigger fool
How easy it was to lock you up and throw away the key
Your arrogance your only friend and enemy
And on that beautiful day
When the Universe bestowed upon me
the knowledge of your wretched, nay -
your rightful state,
I knew I was finally free.
I laughed so much, my stomach ached and my face was awash with tears of joy, of gratitude and cheer… and the Universe laughed too.
