Asunder thy Enemy, my Enemy

Always what I wanted
Almost, yet never had
I humbled myself before you
While you harbored in the dark
I tried to hide in the shadows
But light had me always found
So I cloaked myself in armor
A body bold and strong
And still you came rumbling asunder
So I flew up high like a cloud in the sky
The night’s stars further filled me with a charge
So much brighter than before
So much brighter than before
So much brighter than before
The shards that now were you
Shall crumble furthermore
And when you are nothing but dust
I, shall smoke you out the door
But even before then
I shall tower above you so tall with might
Your shame shackling you to the floor
In a pit of despair - Just to be forgotten.
