His Shadow stood tall and dark
I turned and looked with a start
“You’re back.” I remarked.
“I never left.” He said with an invisible smirk
His loud whisper crushed my heart with a jerk.
“Of course.” Said I.
Tears streamed from my eyes.
Lies lies lies.
Meaningless lies.
Trapped in the darkness of the night’s skies.
Nowhere to go.
Nothing to be.
Left all alone my shadow and me.
