Bluebells in Banbury

The forest floor
Was a tapestry full of bluebells
A carpet of purple, blue, and green
The trees cast shade
Whilst the birds sing
The rain wet and heavy on the leaves
As the tulips stood tall
Proudly they opened up
When the Sun came to call
Mother Nature’s Majesty
A story so grand
It could have only come
From the greatest storyteller of them all
And I, so small sing glory to God and Hallelujah.
